Taste Sustainability

The Mae Lao watershed forest is especially lush. It is an area of verdant hills, a place of waterfalls and a source of rivers and streams. It is home to abundant wildlife and medicinal and edible plants. At one time, the forest here was severely damaged by mining concessions, which left behind a legacy of devastation once the mines were exhausted. It took many years to heal these wounds.
